Administering Medicine

We will only administer medicines if prescribed by a doctor/nurse or approved over-the-counter (OTC) medicine*.  Medicine is only administered with the consent of the parents or carers and with a completed and signed form.  

* OTC medicine will not be administered to children under 6 years of age.   

Approved OTC medicines: Paediatric Paracetamol and Children’s antihistamine

We also need information about your child if they have an asthma inhaler. Please make sure any inhalers are in date.
